The most wonderful time of the year

Thursday, December 1st, 2011

Navidad!I absolutely love the holidays! Not just the holidays, I think I’m infatuated with the whole season of fall and most of winter. I don’t know if it’s because the majority of people are in a festive mood or if it’s some subconscious childhood memory. Either way, I find a lot to be happy about during this time of year.

This year has been filled with ups and downs and all arounds. I’ve decided to take a little sabbatical (the month of December) from blogging so I can have just one thing fewer on my plate. It’s strange that even though this is the first time I’m doing this after 3 years of blogging, I feel a twinge of guilt. In a way it’s good because it’ll motivate me to make it up to y’all when I start again in January Guiño

In the meantime, you can (re)discover my top viewed posts of all time:

I wish you and yours the happiest of holidays (Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukah, and Happy Kwanzaa)!!! See you in 2012!

Optimist or Pessimist?

Friday, December 31st, 2010

An optimist stays up until midnight to see the new year in.  A pessimist stays up to make sure the old year leaves.  ~Bill VaughanChampagne Wishes

Whichever one you are, I hope that this new year is only better than the last!!!
